The **Manager, Commerce Strategy** role will understand the capabilities of commerce platforms including retail media networks and adtech partners and will assist in solving complex business problems through simplified POVs. The role will be embedded within our Indonesia Mindshare agency team and is dedicated to identifying and developing local product, process, or solution opportunities that can unlock new growth opportunities within other markets in APAC.
This role will have the opportunity to work with top tier CPG accounts, work with retail partners, and support highly dynamic cross-functional project teams. This role will have the ability to amplify the best of our day-to-day deliverables and network capabilities in Indonesia to key South East Asian markets. An entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action and problem-solving is necessary to be successful in this role.
**Responsibilities**:
- Adapt & export local commerce media strategy, processes and practices to regional & global level, working closely with teams in Indonesia and our APAC hub in Singapore.
- Support teams across the APAC region (investment, search, social, programmatic, data, and analytics) to adopt solutions, processes and practices that accomplish client's business objectives.
- Strategically package and elevate great commerce work from local to regional & global level.
- Develop commerce and retail media content for the organization, with a focus on elevating local work to the region, including educational trainings, POVs, and frameworks.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in retail media in APAC. Develop and cascade POVs on changing industry dynamics.
- Support the integration between commerce and brand media to develop end-to-end media plans for clients.
- Manage relationships to ensure delivery of first-to-market media solutions.
- Engage with internal and external leaders across WPP agencies, technology providers, and retailers to develop go-to-market solutions.
- Support key strategic projects to enhance the delivery of commerce solutions in the region for select clients.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in commerce across paid media, trade strategy, retail and/or consulting.
- Deep understanding of commerce & retail media and key local / regional platforms in APAC (e.g. Shopee, Lazada Sponsored Solutions, etc.)
- Deep understanding of how different media channels work together and how retail media fits within the wider ecosystem.
- Drive to learn and understand the retail landscape and the latest trends in commerce media.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (written & verbal), with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- A self-starter attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent project-management skills; able to coordinate projects across multiple teams and functions.
- Experience across the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
