**Job Description** Head Mixologist**
As a Head Mixologist, your creative flair and passion for beverage will lead your Bar team
to superior beverage experiences to our guests. Though your effective leadership and
innovation, you will create drinks and menus that place Fairmont Jakarta on the map as
the "Hottest Place in Town".

What you will be doing:
- Ensure that the bar is set according to standards and procedures
- Complete all bartender duties when necessary
- Ensure that all details of service are performed by the bartenders to expected standards and that every guest receives the highest quality of service in line with LQA standards
- Overseeing the inventory of liquor in the bar, ordering new supplies when necessary, and organizing storage space for bottles
- Managing all bar operations including staff scheduling, inventory, ordering supplies, and creating drink specials
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly inventory. Report any variance or discrepancy
- Drive cocktail menu changes to ensure fresh, innovative and seasonally accurate cocktails are available on the menu. Up-sell and promote other food and beverage offers at every available opportunity to maximize sales revenue.
- Obtain guests' feedback during operations to ensure satisfaction
- Train bartenders and service team to ensure beverage knowledge and service levels are to standard
- Complete product requisitions accurately and maintain bar beverage inventory control
- Report any complaints, incidents or other irregularities to management
- Order and collect food and beverage supply requisition. Ensure that the stock is collected as per requisition.
- Supervise the bar service to offer a high quality, efficient beverage service that adds to a superior Guest experience and is in accordance with licensing regulations associated with alcoholic beverages
- Clean and maintain all operational equipment
- Practice appropriate and effective measures to improve control of costs
**Qualifications**
Your experience and skills include:
- Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- Good communication and customer contact skills
- Service oriented with an eye for details
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
- Self-motivated and energetic
- Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
