What you'll do:
As the Head of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and implementing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan. You will be responsible for a range of duties including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, succession planning, employee relations and industrial relations. Your ability to enhance department and organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new requests will be key to your success.
Develop organisational strategies by identifying human resources issues and recommending strategic thinking and direction
Implement human resources strategies by establishing department accountability
Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, decisions, analysing information and applications
Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing and updating policies and guidelines
Establish an in-house employee training system that addresses company training needs including training needs assessment, new employee orientation, management development, measurement of training impact and training transfer
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Head of Human Resources position will bring a wealth of experience from previous HR leadership roles. You will have a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in human resources positions. Your broad knowledge and experience in employment law, organisational planning, organisation development, employee relations and training will be crucial to your success in this role. Your excellent organisational skills will enable you to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in human resources positions
Demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant on the executive management team that provides company leadership and direction
Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, organisational planning, organisation development, employee relations and training and development
Excellent stakeholder management skill
