**Key Responsibilities**
- Will lead a big legal team.
- Responsibilities shall include, among others: (a) Developing legal strategy, giving legal advice, and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards; (b) Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating all contracts and legal documents to protect company interests; (c) Assessing and identifying legal risks, providing guidance on risk mitigation and implementing appropriate risk management measures; (d) Leading legal disputes, managing litigation process and coordination with external legal counsel when needed; and (e) Leading legal department, developing and coaching team to ensure effective legal operations.
- Essentially understand and are able to utilize international standards to facilitate various plain vanilla to complex legal transactions.
- Full WFO.
**Key Requirements**
- Having at least **12 **years of experience**.
- **MUST have** **high-level maturity skills** in providing strategic legal advice to the executive team members and owners on strategic decisions - by essentially having strong lawyering skills and negotiation skills.
- **Desirable **is experienced in the Maritime and/or Logistics sectors.
- Has extensive experience and knowledge in the legal sector, especially in handling the **Operation Business **of various types of lines of businesses + complex corporate actions**.
- **MUST**essentially understand and experience the utilization of international standards to facilitate various contracts, including but not limited to Incoterms knowledge).
- Able to put a business hat on when it comes to problem-solving and counsel company problems.
- Understand the main **litigation **pillar.
- **Stellar English fluency**.
- Active, strong communication skills, and strong ability to withstand pressure.
- Experience in working with family-owned business companies would be a plus point.
- Have worked both as a Lawyer in a Law Firm and as In-House Counsel.
- **Willing to be relocated to SURABAYA, East Java**.
