**The Opportunity**:
This role will head the Mining team for Aon, Indonesia. The role will lead and develop the team while implementing sales growth strategies in Asia to ensure a clear path to growth in line with agreed regional Specialty Broking strategy.
**Responsibilities**:
- Establishing, driving and monitoring pipelines and sales budgets; implementing profitable growth strategies of the E&M portfolio via new and / or expanded business relative to the E&M Specialty in Asia through the provision of technical advisory and tender responses/strategy;
- Collaborating with Specialty Broking leadership, Aon network offices and Asia sales and client teams per overall business goals and objectives to deliver our value proposition at all times in an Aon United manner;
- Developing, maintaining and managing senior relationships with key E&M clients, prospects and markets;
- Advocating and delivering thought leadership, standard methodology, and industry technical expertise to clients and prospects;
- Identifying and keeping up to date with sector and market trends relative to E&M clients and prospects;
- Knowledge sharing, mentoring and training colleagues;
- Management of direct reports;
- Compliance with regulatory bodies relevant to your duties;
- Any additional duties that may be allocated to you.
**Requirements**:
- Preference for previous experience in the energy/mining insurance sector and client account management, preferably Downstream Energy Property/Business Interruption Placements
- Demonstrated sales track record, including executive business decision-maker contacts, C-level sales, advanced negotiation, deal structuring, and sales contract experience
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders
- Self-disciplined, organized, with attention to detail and ability to prioritise
