As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead our operational strategies and ensure the smooth functioning of their forestry business.
Job Description Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational objectives aligned with the company's overall goals. Identify areas for improvement and innovation in operational processes and systems Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable forestry practices. Manage procurement processes for equipment, materials, and services required for forestry operations. Coordinate transportation logistics for timber products, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Develop and manage operational budgets, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and industry partners. Represent the company in relevant forums and industry associations. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in forestry, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience in a senior operational role within the forestry/Palm Oil industry, with a strong understanding of forest management practices, supply chain logistics, and regulatory requirements. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively leading teams and driving operational excellence. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
