Job Description Plan And Perform Internal Audits And/or Review Results From The Quality Compliance Team To Identify Trends And Opportunities For Improvement. Verify Compliance And Conformance To All Regulatory And Quality Systems Requirements, Including Both Customer And Flex Mandated. Additionally Engage In External Audit Processes (Customer's, Regulatory, Government Agencies, Etc.)Provide Support To Any Area That Requires Help To Implement Regulatory And Quality Requirements Into Their Processes And Develop Training Programs For Internal Users In Subjects Related To Regulations Or Quality SystemsDocument And Maintain All Audit Findings And Request The Corrective / Preventive Actions Needed And Create Audit Reports That Identify Any Non-Conformance Or Opportunities For Improvement Found During The Audit ProcessFollow Up On Internal And External Corrective Actions To Ensure Timely Implementation And Validate Their EffectivenessRequirement A Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant degreeExperience in Automotive Industry for 10+ years with GM PositionAdditionally experience with supplier quality assurance audits (SQA) and or lead auditor certification would give you an advantageSeasoned knowledge with the regulatory and process frameworks used in the automotive industry (e.g. IATF 16949, VDA, ISO 9001, ASPICE, ) would be an advantageExperience with quality management tools and methodologies used in Automotive Design and Manufacturing (e.g. APQP, DMAIC, Six Sigma, etc.)Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to successfully collaborate with the regional teams and stakeholdersThe ability to travel up to ~15% on average, domestically and internationally
