**About the Role**:
As the Head of Sales B2B, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's sales strategy, managing the sales department budget, and serving as the primary driver of revenue generation. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities in the market, establish and nurture high-level client relationships, and provide comprehensive market insights to drive the development of new products. Additionally, you will be the Profit and Loss (P&L) owner for the B2B sales department.
**What you'll do**:
- **Sales Strategy**: Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets, including identifying target markets, customer segments, and pricing strategies.
- **Budget Management**: Manage and optimize the sales department budget to ensure efficient resource allocation and cost control.
- **Pricing Strategy**: Establish competitive pricing strategies and ensure pricing models are aligned with market trends and client value.
- **Client Engagement**: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and high-level positions within client organizations to enhance customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
- **P&L Ownership**: Take ownership of the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the sales department, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- **Selling Proposition**: Develop and communicate a compelling selling proposition to customers, highlighting the unique value and benefits of our products and services.
- **Market Insights**: Provide comprehensive market insights, including analysis of potential new products, market size, and growth opportunities, to support decision-making.
- **Team Leadership**: Build and lead a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals, providing coaching and mentorship, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- **Performance Metrics**: Establish and monitor key performance metrics and sales targets for the department, regularly reporting progress to senior leadership.
- **Represent the company**: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand recognition and establish strategic partnerships.
**What we're looking for**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8 - 10 years of progressive experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Extensive experience in handling B2C and B2B2C clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of both B2B and B2C sales channels.
- Preferably, a strong background in the payment gateway and billing aggregator industry, with a comprehensive understanding of payment processing systems, and financial technologies.
- Previous experience in a leadership role, managing and developing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, pricing strategies, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
- Results-oriented and strategic thinker with a focus on profitability.
