**About the Role**
We are seeking a leadership-driven and knowledgeable Head of Talent Acquisition to join our client's organization in One of the biggest mining groups in Indonesia. As the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's success by attracting, acquiring, and retaining top-tier talent. This multifaceted role requires an individual who excels in talent mapping, can provide valuable insights to the board for strategic hiring decisions, and possesses a deep understanding of workforce planning strategies.
**Responsibilities**:
**Talent Mapping and Acquisition Strategy**:
- Conduct in-depth talent mapping exercises to identify key individuals and skill sets within the nickel industry.
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract and recruit high-caliber professionals.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand current and future talent needs
**Strategic Advisory to the Board**:
- Provide expert advice and insights to the board on industry trends, talent availability, and competitive positioning.
- Make recommendations on key hires and organizational structure to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the overall talent acquisition and workforce planning strategy.
**Workforce Planning**:
- Lead the development and execution of workforce planning initiatives to ensure the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
- Analyze workforce trends, skills gaps, and future needs to proactively address talent challenges.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to develop succession plans and talent pipelines.
**Stakeholder Engagement**:
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including executives, hiring managers, and HR business partners.
- Partner with external industry networks and associations to stay informed about talent trends and best practices.
- Enhance our employer brand to attract top talent, leveraging both traditional and digital channels.
**Key Requirements**
- Able to define TA metrics to measure achievements
- Experience in working with cross-functional team leadership
- Experience in managing stakeholders within and outside of HR that have an impact on the recruiting strategy
- Experience with HR Recruiting processes and programs
- Proven experience in talent acquisition and workforce planning within mining or related industries.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- 10+ years of experience recruiting, with at least 2 years leading a team
- Command of metrics including pipeline data, hiring forecast, and recruiting capacity
- Track record of success in finding, engaging, and hiring top talent
- Strong understanding of the talent landscape, industry benchmarks, and best practices.
- Successfully run strategic recruiting projects that enable the team to hit their hiring goals
