**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES****Recruitment**- Assessing business needs for recruiting and deployment of the resources in the Business Unit (BU)- Support the TA team build the talent pipeline by attending and engaging in job fairs, on-campus recruiting, advertising, search firm coordination, internal postings- Ensure on-time support from the line on the evaluation process (interviewing, testing, exams, and receiving feedback hiring)**Employee Relations**- Consult to line managers and employees on HR policy and employee relations issues and concerns- Coordinate employee engagement survey (survey and focus groups) with the HR Ops team- Coordinate with the HROps team to facilitate salary/employment verifications, benefits, and probation confirmations to employees- Coordinate between new joiners, line and HROps team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new joiners- Conducting exit interviews- Administering employee relocation- Coordinating expatriate/inpatriate (internal transfer from other OpCos) logistics and services- Act as the first point of contact for grievances and ensure that all grievances are handled, recorded, and resolved- Handling Domestic Inquiries**Performance Management**- Support the design and implementation of performance management strategy and calibration process- Facilitate PR rating communication/feedback sessions with employees and supervisors and follow up on action items**Learning & Development**- Work with the L&D team to conduct annual training needs assessment for the BU consulting and discussing with line managers and employees on training programs and training needs- Liaise with the L&D team in facilitating the training programs and measuring & analyzing training results thereafter- Follow up with participants on training completion and update line managers regularly- Assess additional training needs through Performance Management Cycle and gap analysis.- Coordinating and managing Engineering Council meetings fortnightly.**Employee Engagement**- Manage employee engagement programs (recognition, rewards, suggestions, etc.) and guidelines- Plan and facilitate engagement activities within the BU/Functions- Managing engagement budgets- Regular location visit to employee sites- Organize project completion coffee chats with the CEO- Plan and facilitate special events (Jan 1st celebration, Sinhala-Tamil Avurudu Celebration, Year-end celebrations)- Develop health and welfare benefits program strategy and delivery strategy- Touch base with 100% of the employee population at least once a quarter**Compensation & Benefits**- Maintaining job descriptions, ranking, and salary survey information- Responding to routine questions about compensation- Administering recognition & reward programs (ex: spot rewards, projects with CSAT over 4.2)**Reporting**- Provide insights on BU-level metrics and work towards meeting metric targets- Provide input to BU heads/Functional heads on action points- Provide weekly operational/ strategic updates of the BU to the CEO**Talent Development**Identify critical roles in the respective Business Unit and initiate discussion on succession planning for each role**Qualifications/ Skills/ Knowledge**- Diploma/ Degree in Human Resources or related field- 4+ years of experience in a similar capacity- Relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices- Excellent people management skillsGood communications and negotiation skills
