Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our Human Resources team as an HR Payroll Staff. The HR Payroll Staff will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll in compliance with Indonesian regulations, benefits administration, and adherence to local laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of payroll processes, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and precision.
Key Responsibilities: Payroll Processing: Collaborate with various departments to collect and verify time and attendance data, commissions, bonuses, and other payroll-related information. Calculate and process payroll accurately and on time, including necessary adjustments, overtime, and leave balances.
Benefits Administration: Support employee benefits administration, including health insurance, pension plans, and other relevant facilities in accordance with applicable regulations. Ensure accurate deductions and contributions aligned with employee choices and benefit plan guidelines.
Data Entry and Verification: Enter and update employee information in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, tax statuses, and other relevant data. Verify accuracy of inputted data to prevent discrepancies.
Tax Compliance: Stay updated on federal, local, and regional tax regulations and ensure accurate tax deductions for employees. Prepare and distribute required tax documents such as W-2 forms at the end of each calendar year.
Audit and Reconciliation: Regularly audit payroll data to identify and rectify discrepancies. Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure correct allocation of payroll costs to departments and cost centers.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain organized records of payroll transactions, benefits information, and related documentation. Generate accurate and timely payroll reports for management review.
Communication: Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and tax matters. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and professionally.
Compliance: Stay knowledgeable about labor laws, regulations, and best practices related to payroll processing and benefits administration in accordance with Indonesian regulations. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues promptly. Collaborate with other HR team members, Finance, and IT departments to overcome technical and data-related challenges.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, or related HR functions. Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll practices, tax regulations, and benefits administration. Familiarity with Human Resources Information System (HRIS) is a plus.Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail to ensure accurate payroll processing and data entry.Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees and address inquiries professionally.Confidentiality: Proven ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality.Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various priorities and meet deadlines.
