**Job Description and Qualifications**
- This position reports to HR Manager. The jobholder serves as the "face of HR" to the general population of employees and managers, and therefore plays a critical role in the development and evolution of the Air Products employee experience. The role is responsible for ensuring HR support enabling operations to meet organizational objectives, follows service level leading practices, and integrates with the other functions within the HR team for consistency.
- The MyHR Specialist will support employees and managers while performing duties in support of a variety of HR programs. Examples include, new employee orientation/onboarding, offboarding, program administration (eg medical insurance, leaves, etc), Workday administration and maintenance, eMOC process for HR policies and procedures, compensation, or benefits.
- The Individual will handle employee and manager inquiries on policy/procedures/processes and resolves the inquiries swiftly and efficiently with the remaining exception cases escalated to Payroll Services, Communities of Expertise (CoE), and HR Partners.
- The individual is expected to be knowledgeable in HR Policies & Procedures, Recruitment process, Employee Relations and Compensation and Benefits administration; able to expedite solutions and be a reliable source of accurate information to managers and employees. The position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, high performance and work ethic to drive to completion, as well as the ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization to understand and resolve issues.
- This position is accountable for the following end results:
Manages employee & manager inquiries, requests & cases:
Ideally, responds with accurate resolution upon first contact, or, if necessary, conducts the appropriate investigation and/or research to identify and present the appropriate resolution
In exception cases, escalates request by escalating HR cases to Payroll Services, CoEs or HR Partners
Manage workload efficiently to fulfil commitments in accordance with established service level agreement (SLAs)
Develops core competency in HR tools and programs (Workday, LearnEx, local time/ attendance/ payroll, etc.)
Execute & support life-cycle day-to-day HR processes, manage associated knowledge & content:
Work with Hiring Manager to identify recruitment needs and ensure the open positions are filled within the given timelines
Manage the full recruitment process from sourcing, screening resumes, conducting and coordinating interviews and offer management
Facilitate on-boarding process for new hires
Administer employee benefits including medical insurance/claims, annual flu vaccine program and preventive health care screening program
Provide monthly/ad-hoc payroll instructions for payroll processing every month
Prepare and issue letters (eg. confirmation, promotion and salary adjustment letters, employment certification, etc)
Complete data for compensation and non-compensation surveys
Schedule and coordinate lunch talks
Provide Training logistic support as required
Administer employee separations by issuing, final release letters, Protecting IP Letter, to leavers and provide Payroll with final instructions for final salary release
Identify improvement opportunities to improve and streamline work processes and participate in group/team projects or initiating individual improvement projects when opportunities arise
Implement process enhancements and changes as required by the Communities of Expertise and other sources of demand.
