The Role We are seeking a VC Operations Intern for our Indonesia - Jakarta office. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with the entrepreneurial process and understand venture capital dynamics at an early stage. The intern will play a pivotal role in sourcing innovative founders, evaluating startup proposals for our residency programs, participating in general office operations, and executing our founder residency program end-to-end.
Responsibilities Scouting Assist in executing the founder scouting process for Antler's Indonesia residency. Take ownership of our pipelines and infrastructure to effectively source, engage, and secure top-tier founders and startups. Act as a professional ambassador for Antler, maintaining high communication standards with potential founders. Support the screening and interviewing processes, ensuring the selection of an exceptional cohort. Manage pre-residency founder communications and coordinate logistics for networking events and other activities. Contribute to developing Antler's best practices in founder scouting and deal sourcing. Residency Assist with planning and managing operations for our Indonesia residency using Antler's playbook and best practices. Help run our cohorts by managing the day-to-day founder communication, operations and logistics. Capture, analyse, and present data to assess business models, startup teams and market opportunities. Follow up with portfolio companies wherever applicable to help support their growth and continued success - including administrative matters such as fundraising. Help build our founder community. Other administrative and operational tasks to be specified are associated with this role's varied nature. Skills & Behaviours Excellent academic background with great communication skills. Proactive and eager to take on new challenges, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Highly organised with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and roles simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. Energetic, positive, detail-oriented, and capable of leading and participating in various operational roles. Open to receiving feedback and committed to personal and professional growth. Eligibility Available for a minimum 6-month internship on a full-time basis from June 2024 onwards
