As an Incoming Engineer you are tasked to supervise Incoming Inspection area to support new Surgical project to ensure a smooth day-to-day operation following the existing SOPs, and implementation of DI/ GMP/GLP/GDP at Batam . In this role, a typical day will include:
Responsibilities: Lead and motivate a team of quality assurance inspectors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Develop and implement inspection plans and procedures for incoming materials and goods. Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address quality defects and discrepancies. Maintain meticulous records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports. Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Work closely with other departments (e.g., Purchasing, Production) to ensure seamless integration of quality control processes. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices in quality assurance. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of quality control procedures. What Can You Bring to Alcon: Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field. Proven experience in leading and supervising a quality assurance team. In-depth knowledge of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing). Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience operating a CMM machine (preferred). Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis.
