Regular Travel to US Consulate Surabaya and Principal Office at Medan for at least once a year, special duties : VIP visit support, after hours for maintenance and troubleshooting process, and duty on-call every two months.

**Duties**:
The Computer Management Assistant - Local Area Network (LAN) is the deputy in the LAN team working in the Information Systems Center (ISC) of U.S. Embassy Jakarta and reports to the Senior LAN Manager and takes on difficult LAN management issues -coordinating solutions with Washington. Specifically the incumbent is the regional support expert on Consular Affairs (CA) and Financial Management Center (FMC) and is the lead on network security issues for all systems for all posts in Indonesia. The position holder researches and provides new support techniques and uses this insight to develop innovative server and workstation management procedures that meet and or exceed such best practices used in private industry.

4 years University Degree majoring in Information Technology and / or Computer Science is required

LANGUAGE: Fluent in English (speaking/reading/writing, may include the ability to translate) and Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia (speaking/reading/writing, may include the ability to translate). This may be tested

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
