Investment Legal Lead

**About the Role**

As our Investment Legal Lead, you will be responsible for the legal aspect of merger and acquisition as well as corporate legal matters. This role will expose you to collaboration with internal stakeholders, like the Corporate Development team, in overseeing mergers and acquisitions within the Tokopedia ecosystem. **What You Will Do**
- Conduct or assist in due diligence exercises
- Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents, including documents relating to M&A transactions, cooperation agreements, and general corporate matters
- Work closely with various functions within the company on any strategic business initiatives aiming for among other things to develop creative legal solutions for resolving contractual and regulatory problems
- Ensure compliance with good corporate governance including board meetings and reporting requirements (e.g., OJK, BKPM)
- Provide legal advice and guidance that is consistent with law and company policy

**What You Will Need**
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
- At least 4 years of legal experience in a reputable law firm or corporate setting
- Excellent teamwork, communication (written and oral), and analytical skills with the capacity of identifying all risks and proactively choosing the best solutions, and attention to details
- Highly motivated, innovative, disciplined, and able to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to manage workload in a dynamic environment
- Advanced level of speaking and writing both in English and Indonesian language
- Qualified to practice law in Indonesia
