The Group's main business in Indonesia has historically been the defense domain, where Thales is a long-term provider of defense systems for the Indonesian Army and Navy. In these areas Thales has demonstrated a strong commitment to working collaboratively with the Indonesian government and partners with local stakeholders. In recent years there has been an increased interest in the Thales civil solutions especially in the field of transportation and air traffic control. With the growing attention to infrastructure development by the Indonesian government, Thales will have opportunities in the transportation and security domain.
As part of the Information Systems (IS) Governance Team, you will be working with the team in Singapore and across Asia to scope and refine requirements. You will ensure that clear and concise scope of work, requirements and needs are captured and translated to technical documents, as well as ensuring projects are delivered according to the requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
- Be the primary interface with business users for user requirement activities, and to understand their needs.
- Create detailed business analysis documents, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions
- Analyse and document the "as-is" & "to be" business processes, to formulate the problem statement for various use case
- Design solutions and write functional specifications and solutions in collaboration with technical IT specialists
- Actively participate in the project lifecycle and will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure all business requirements are understood, documented and met.
**Requirement**:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment
- Strong knowledge of business analysis principles, processes, techniques, and workflows.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Highly proficient in English
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
