We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Hardware/Network Engineer to join our manufacturing company. As an IT Hardware/Network Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all hardware and network infrastructure across our organization. You will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing processes, optimizing our network performance, and ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design, deploy, and maintain the company's hardware infrastructure, including servers, workstations, routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, network, and software issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Monitor network performance and optimize network speed and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement hardware and network upgrades or enhancements.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the company's IT systems by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data encryption.
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in IT hardware and network engineering.
**Requirements**:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as IT network/Hardware Engineer
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, and CompTIA A+ can be highly valuable.
- Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT hardware and networking components, including routers, switches, servers, and firewalls NGFW.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.) and network security best practices.
- Familiarity with hardware components, including CPUs, RAM, storage devices, and peripheral devices.
- Experience with operating systems like Windows and macOS.
- Ability to set up and manage virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills to work with others.
- Attention to detail and the ability to document configurations and procedures.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and the ability to implement security measures to protect data and infrastructure.
- The ability to analyze complex network problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Experience with configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network hardware and infrastructure is essential.
- Having commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
- The ability to adapt to changing technologies and business needs is crucial.
- Good English Proficiency is a must
