Install, configure, and manage physical and virtual servers running on VMware vSphere or similar virtualization platforms.
- Administer Windows Server and Linux Server environments.
- Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, including backup, performance optimization, and security.
- Design, implement, and maintain server infrastructure.
- Perform routine server maintenance tasks, including patching, updates, and system health checks.
- Monitor server performance, identify, and troubleshoot potential issues.
- Document server configurations and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest server technologies and best practices.
- Manage and troubleshoot network configurations, ensuring smooth network operations.
- Assist in user support for software, hardware, and network issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Server Administrator.
- In-depth knowledge of VMware vSphere or similar virtualization platforms.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server and Linux Server administration.
- Proficient in SQL Server administration.
- Working knowledge of storage technologies (SAN, NAS).
- Familiarity with network concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
