**Job Descriptions****:

- Respond to technical support tickets.
- Contact clients to find out the nature of the technical or IT issue.
- Provide technical support on-site or via remote-access systems.
- Install new hardware, software and networking systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, CCTV, networking and software issues.
- Perform backups and restoring lost data as needed.
- Avoid service interruptions by performing system installations, updates, and maintenance procedures.
- Monitoring the performance of the system and servers.
- Propose simple and effective solutions.
- Provide minor technical or operational training.
- Follow up with clients to ensure the problem is resolved.
- Document processes and maintain service desk records.

**Requirements****:

- D3/S1 Degree in computer sciences, information technology or similar.
- 1 - 2 years of experience as Linux admin, help desk, sys admin, technical support, data center technician, or similar.
- Experience with virtualization (proxmox, vmware, virtualbox, qemu, hyper-v, etc)
- Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining Linux based servers and network equipment.
- Extensive experience in performing backup automation and restoring processes.
- Able to work as part of a team, provide IT support, and resolve errors.
- Able to keep up with advancements in networking and computer troubleshooting.
- Eager to learn new knowledge
- Good communication skills in English both oral and written
- Willing to respond to network and server errors after hours.
- Willing to work the night shift.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Salatiga.
