**What will you do**:
- Produce and review studies, surveys, designs and calculations reports
- Produce input for structural drawing and review quality of drawing
- Prepare and review technical specification
- Production of design calculations, checking and reviewing of calculations produced by other parties
- Producing sketch drawings and details for CAD drawing by others checking and reviewing
- Provide internal team Project Management on projects as required, acting as client/design team interface and co-ordination with others.
- Carry out inspections and surveys, preparation of reports, structural analyses and reporting.
- Manage interaction with other disciplines e.g. ME Engineer, project manager and quantity surveyor or site staff
- Manage interaction with external parties e.g. clients, local authorities and contractors.
- Develop specific expertise in particular knowledge area
- Assist dept. head in preparation of proposals and other tasks
- Undertake continuous professional development and training to maintain appropriate chartered/ expert status
- Manage client relationships

Requirement:
- English fluency (both oral and written)
- Demonstrated record of technical experience in structural engineering
- Awareness of civil engineering industry procedures and best practice
- Relevant design
