JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Designs, develops, and implements generative AI models using state-of-the-art techniques..
- Develops, analyzes, and models operational, economic, management, and accounting data to quantify the competitive performance of business segments, evaluate potential operational changes, and design new approaches and methodologies.
- Accommodates business units' needs to define problems, collects data, applies advanced economic and mathematical concepts (if needed) to establish facts and draws valid conclusions.
- Recommends solutions to new and complex problems, develops innovative strategies, quantifies the competitive performance of the organization's operations and/or markets, evaluates the potential impact of changes, and reports on economic forecasts that affect the industry.
- Support business units to build reports for management on the overall performance of business segments and develops metrics to measure various characteristics of the business.
- Analyses historical performance and market information using business software packages and statistical software tools, and develops models to predict future outcomes.
- Building synergy with business users (cross-functional teams) through developing and implementing cutting-edge generative models and algorithms, which can turn data into valuable insights that the company needs in order to grow and compete
JOB QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's Degree (S1), Minimum 1 year of experience in the same role as Data Scientist.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience.
- Solid understanding of deep learning concepts, neural networks, and generative model architectures.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, and proficiency with popular machine learning libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Fluency in SQL database and analytics tools i.e. SAS/R/Python/Spark.
- Outstanding skills in the use of Ms Excel, PowerPoint and Ms Project.
- Experience with building statistical, mathematical and predictive models with appropriate tools to find the right answers to complex business questions.
- Experienced in end-user analytical and visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire, Power BI.
- Experienced in cost/benefit analysis and business case development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Life Insurance products and business processes is a plus.
