**Job Brief**
Junior Purchasing Officer responsibilities include evaluating suppliers, negotiating price and preparing reports (e.g. on orders and costs). For this role, you should have solid analytical skills to make sure you're identifying the most profitable offers. Create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure goods is high quality and delivered on time.
You will also making purchases of production materials (e.g. diffuser, side plate, end cap bracket, wire, etc.), electronic components (e.g. driver, cable, terminal block, LED strip, etc.), and equipment to make a lighting both from local and overseas to meet its cost target. Interpreting drawings and sourcing technical items for Bills of Materials.
**Responsibilities**:
- Research potential suppliers
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Enter order details into Ostendo/Accurate
- Keeping systems updated and accurate data entry/item code
- Negotiate and updating costing of goods
- Work closely with PPIC/Manufacturing Engineer and ensure all requirement for production fulfilled
- Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues
- Negotiate contracts, prices and terms of business with suppliers
**Requirements and Skills**
- Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a similar field is preferred
- Negotiation skills & strong cost savings
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to conduct cost analyses
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of supplier sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- Time management skill as this role required
Pay: From Rp7,000,000 per month
