Caterpillar currently has an opportunity for a Junior Technical Representative in Jakarta, Indonesia.
What You Will Do: Learning and Development: A core function for the junior Tech Rep is to gain knowledge and experience in Product Support. This may involve attending training sessions, participating in online courses, or shadowing Tech Reps.
Assisting Tech Reps: Provide support to Tech Reps on various tasks. This could involve data collection, DPPM organization & management, writing/organizing service publications, and containment actions follow-up.
Technical Tasks: Junior Tech rep is also entrusted with some technical tasks under the guidance of senior Tech Reps. This might include writing and testing, conducting repair, or performing basic data analyses.
Communication and Collaboration: Junior Tech Reps need to effectively communicate with Tech Reps, other team members, Dealers, and sometimes clients. The Junior Tech Rep may participate in project meetings and discussions to contribute their ideas and learn from others.
Student Internship Program: Manage and implement the Indonesian student internship program. This will include: Collaborate with HR to advertise, select and recruit a student; and own and manage the associated student's training plan.

Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.

Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Technical Excellence
Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
Project Management
Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
