It's what you'd expect from the most sustainable paints company, which has been inventing the future for more than two centuries.**Job Purpose**:- Plan, perform and oversee inspection and testing of products to ensure the quality deliverable.- Lead for improvement process control through Right Second Times (RST) and Right First Time (RFT) performance.- Input formulation and maintain formulation product management in SAP system per lab manager direction.- Engage team to identify and implement actions to improve cycle time also maintain laboratory productivity by monitoring workload of functional.- Give advice/solve problem to production once production facing it during process.- Ensure the implementation of ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001 in Lab area, including maintain ISO documentation, calibration lab equipment including audit.- To Ensure and Support HSES&S, ALPS, PSM and continuous improvement activities and process**Key Accountabilities**:- Responsible for day to day running of Quality Control (QC) including testing and passing batch card by comparing test results with product quality specification- Good communication between local Lab Solution, TSR and commercial.- Prepare Monthly Report to Quality Manager in KPI and other report and project- Lead and monitoring process optimization to improve hit per batch and RFT- Participate in monthly ICO work stream.- Responsible for a wide range of duties including training lab technicians on the correct use of lab equipment and mentoring and disciplining lab staff.- Input formulation on the system and maintain, prepare the documentation related formula change to finance.**Key Activities**:- Do lab equipment calibration- Collaboration with other department to reduce Coil SLOB.- Align with CI for AkzoNobel Tracking (ANT) saving.- Investigate for non-conformity product either from internal production or customer complaint.- Ensure implementation of ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001 in Lab area, including maintain ISO documentation, calibration lab equipment including audit.- Participate in SAQ, QSAQ, Coil customer audit.- Engage team to identify and implement actions to improve on-time delivery, improve RFT and improve process efficiency.- To Ensure and Support HSES&S, ALPS, PSM and continuous improvement activities and process**Experience**:- No color blinds.- Good as a leader and manage the subordinate.- Good analyze for problem solving- Familiar with personal computer and management information system.- Good command of oral and written English- Can be able work under pressure and ability work in the team**Education**:Education S1 degree in Chemistry or Chemical engineering with 3-4 years experienced as Quality control in paint manufacture**Competencies**:- Accepting Direction- Accepting Responsibility- Acquiring InformationAt AkzoNobel we are highly committed to ensuring an inclusive and respectful workplace where all employees can be their best self.
