Job Description The Legal Department of Traveloka is seeking a Legal Counsel to join the dynamic Legal Compliance and Regulatory Affairs team. In this role, you will play an important part to ensure that the organization operates within the legal framework and adheres to industry regulations. Your primary focus will be on Data Protection, Privacy and governance of policies and legal procedures. You will also provide compliance support on corporate actions and general legal and compliance matters.
The Legal Counsel, Compliance and Data Privacy will be reporting to the Head of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs, and based in the Traveloka office in BSD, Tangerang Requirements Including in the scope of responsibilities for the Legal Counsel, Compliance and Data Privacy is to:
(i) Lead the effort to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations in all Regions including management of Privacy Notice, Data Protection Impact Assessment, Record of Processing Activities, etc;
(ii) To act as Data Protection Officer for relevant Group entity;
(iii) To ensure everyone in the Company being updated of Laws and regulations in particular related to personal data protection, cybersecurity and general corporate matters;
(iv) To ensure the governance of policies and procedures for the whole company group;
(v) To deliver and support trainings and compliance socialization programs; and
(iii) Draft and review contracts and agreements related to Government Agencies, CSR programs, and partnership;
Requirements: Bachelor degree in Law. Experience of 6-8 years handling legal and compliance matters in Law Firm or as in-house Legal in a Company. Have exposure or experienced in handling Data Privacy and Personal Data Protection matters is a must. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Solid understanding of Indonesian corporate laws and regulations. Strong analytical thinking.
