If so, lets talk.**Your Role and Responsibilities**As Legal Counsel in IBM, you wil be:- Preparing, reviewing, negotiating and advising on all aspects of contracts and their terms. This includes assisting relevant business lines with contract drafting, preparation and responses to proposals, mark-up of contracts and RFP/RFIs, commercial negotiations, and contract administration.- Providing advice on a broad range of corporate, commercial, regulatory, compliance, data privacy, employment, litigation, and other legal issues of relevance to IBM.- Providing support to the supply chain/procurement function and IBM global functions (as needed).- Working with various business lines and functions, including IBM's Finance, Human Resources, Trust and Compliance, Government Regulatory Affairs, and other regulatory and risk management teams, to provide solutions consistent with IBM's corporate policies.- Ensuring documentation is maintained, and that organizational memory is retained, within the corporate business group.- Providing advice and education on contracts and compliance issues (including local laws, business integrity, ethics, FCPA, and GDPR).- Handing claims by and against the company, and assisting with the preparation for litigation or arbitration proceedings, including the coordination of efforts by corporate staff and outside counsel.- Develops ongoing and future strategies to avoid potentially damaging legal situations regarding product development, marketing strategies, etc. which often involves working closely with internal management teams and IBM counsels representing other countries to ensure appropriate implementation.- Providing legal support to various type of corporate actions (e.g. corporate restructuring, M&A, as well as its associated activities).**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**:- Absolute commitment to business integrity and ethical conduct.- Minimum 10 years' legal experience in Indonesia, preferably solid in-house counsel experience with a multi-national corporation (experience working in a highly matrixed multi-national/global corporation will be advantageous) or a combination of experience as private practice attorney and as an in-house counsel.- A degree in law and legal qualification in Indonesia.- Demonstrated ability to influence contract structure and business decision making for the benefit or advantage of IBM.**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**:- Previous exposure to IT-related industry is an advantage.- Able to communicate well and work in a cross-functional team to achieve common goals.- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.- Able to identify and escalate issues timely and appropriately.**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**As above.**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**As above.**About Business Unit**IBM Corporate Headquarters (CHQ) team represents a variety of functions such as marketing, finance, legal, operations, HR, and more, all working together to solve some of the world's most complex problems, help our clients achieve success and build collaborative work environments for IBMers.In a world where technology never stands still, we understand that, dedication to our clients success, innovation that matters, and trust and personal responsibility in all our relationships, lives in what we do as IBMers as we strive to be the catalyst that makes the world work better.Being an IBMer means you'll be able to learn and develop yourself and your career, you'll be encouraged to be courageous and experiment everyday, all whilst having continuous trust and support in an environment where everyone can thrive whatever their personal or professional background.Our IBMers are growth minded, always staying curious, open to feedback and learning new information and skills to constantly transform themselves and our company.
