Our client is seeking a professional with at least 8 years of experience as Legal Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.**Key job responsibilities include**:- Ensure full legal compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards within country.- Oversee corporate governance matters including board meetings, corporate filings, and adherence to corporate policies.- Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts and agreements, such as client contracts, vendor agreements, and partnerships.- Manage all legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations, by coordinating with external counsel and relevant stakeholders.- Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively, safeguarding the company's interests.- Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure legal compliance and risk management.- Provide timely and accurate legal advice to internal stakeholders on a broad spectrum of legal issues, including commercial, regulatory, and employment matters.- Conduct compliance training sessions and workshops to educate employees on legal compliance, ethics, and best practices.- Establish and maintain positive relationships with government authorities and regulators to ensure smooth interactions and compliance with regulatory requirements.- Provide legal support and due diligence assistance for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.**Job Requirements**- Bachelor's degree in Law- Preferably has experience working in Multinational company- Strong industry knowledge.- Excellent communication and analytical skills.- Leadership and team management abilities.- High ethical standards.
