Job Summary:
As a logistics supervisor at AirAsia, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the import and export processes of aircraft spare parts through airfreight and sea freight shipments. Your role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, and streamlining processes to ensure efficient logistic operations. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the flow of essential components, supporting the aviation industry's operational excellence.
**Responsibilities**:
- Administer and conduct all import and export processes for aircraft spare parts, overseeing deliveries and shipments via airfreight or sea freight.
- Prepare the annual tender for Custom Brokerage and Freight Forwarding services, ensuring the optimal selection of service providers.
- Perform internal and external audits to ensure adherence to regulations and oversee external agents like Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with government regulations, industry standards, and internal policies for the import and export of aircraft spare parts.
- Generate accurate reports and maintain documentation, ensuring timely submission.
- Collaborate with the Tax department to facilitate tax exemption processes related to aircraft spare parts.
- Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions for Export Import Procedures.
- Liaise with Air Asia overseas, suppliers, and Freight Forwarders to manage export-import arrangements, shipment coordination, and compliance with procedures and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth customs clearance processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Diploma Degree in a relevant field.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the aviation industry (supply chain/logistics) is advantageous, or exposure to Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain/Logistics, and Customs Brokerage.
- Proficiency in understanding PLB (Bonded Zone) Customs processes.
- Experience in Customs Audit procedures.
- Proficient in both written and verbal English communication.
- Willingness to work in the Cengkareng area
