**Objectives of the Position**:
Develop and implement the sales and marketing activities to realize the mid and long-term objectives of the plastic additives business both Up Stream (Polymer Manufacturer) and Down Stream (Converter/ Compounder/ Masterbatcher) in Indonesia.
**Main Responsibilities and Key Activities**:
- **Sales development**:
- Develop sales plan and control the operating budgets of business in Indonesia.
- Prospect, secure and expedite orders with existing and new accounts.
- Conclude business contracts (sales, distribution, etc.) to maintain business growth.
- Attend to the claims and provide measures to resolve them.
- Prepare customer visits and other reports.
- **Market intelligence**:
- Carry out market research project to develop competitor grid and benchmarking analyses.
- Prepare market, industry trends, competitors, customers' reports on a regular basis.
- **Customer & distributor management**:
- Maintain existing customers / account plans and improve business relationships.
- Manage key accounts and distributors.
- Conduct field visits, seminars, presentation and attend to customer's inquiries.
- Conduct customer's assessments and analyses to ensure the strategic focus is in the right place.
- Cooperate with functional team to ensure best product, service quality and good information flow and solve customer's issues.
- **Inventory management**
- Provide data and timely feedback on end use market trends, and monthly sale forecast, to support defining and revising the levels of regional stock and allocation.
- Arrange product testing and trial runs
- Participate in public relations, government & industry advocacy; marketing communication campaign (as needed)
- **Credit management**:
- Ensure timely payment of receivables to meet established sales targets and revenue goals.
- Coordinate with credit control to make appropriate credit recommendation.
- **Others**
- Prepare sales performance report, and other relevant reports as assigned.
- Perform such other duties, which may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Min 5 years experience in a sales or commercial role preferably in plastic industries.
- Business development experience is an advantage Experience in management of risks associated to operationsand formulations.
- Good English and computer skills (MS Office, SAP, etc.)
