**JOB DETAIL**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Monitoring fleet's navigational, deck, and cargo operation efficiency, ship, and crew safety policies and SMS system.
- Monitoring vessels survey status pertaining to deck, cargo gear, LSA, and FFA equipment.
- Vetting of ships' monthly returns and planning vessels future requirements
**Navigational Operation**:
- Liasing with Masters on chart/publication updating navigational issues
- Informing vessels on National, Class, International regulations and rules in force
- Informing vessels of Company's policy and regulations in force
- Liasing with Master on maintenance of LSA/FFA equipment
- Providing Masters with navigational information where required
**Crew Operation**:
- Vetting of officers and crew for employment on vessels
- Organizing familiarization and planning overlapped of senior officers
- Handling of crew disciplinary matters
- Liasing with Crewing Executive Officer on crew performance
- Providing briefing to senior deck officers joining vessels
- Debriefing of returning senior deck officers
**Ships' Operation**:
- Company Security Officer (CSO) as per ISPS code, for vessel's assigned
- Liasing with Owners/Charterers on vessel operational matters
- Liasing with Masters/Port Agents on operational and crew matters and/or schedule
- Attending to shipboard visits/inspections/surveys as per Company's policy
- Reviewing effectiveness of Company's EOHS policies during inspection
- Issuing necessary instructions pertaining to vessel safety matters
- Arranging inspection of each vessel under his charge at least twice a year, using checklist, form S-33 as guidance
- Verifying that the maintenance is being carried out in accordance to the PMS
- Carrying out a safety meeting if time permits each time visiting on board
- Conducting investigations on all accidents and incidents as reported
**JOB QUALIFICATION**:
**Requirements**:
- Minimal **ANT II degree** from Maritime Studies.
- Minimal **2 years as C/O on board Chemical, Oi, & Gas tanker vessels.**:
- **Technical knowledge**:International Convention Regulation, Ship management, Internal Audit, Familiar with OMI requirement, ISM Code, ISPS Code.
- Willing to be **placed at Head Office** and **Business Trip to vessel**.
- **Fluent in English**
