Supporting internal customer service inquiries. Reporting to Planning and Fulfillment Manager, you will be setting inventory parameters, inventory targets, and ensure adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders. This position is based in Tangerang, Indonesia.**Your responsibilities**:- Segmenting the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and commercial policy- Calculating and maintaining in the planning systems and the ERPs the inventory parameters: safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead-time, and replenishment strategies- Collaborating with buyers for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, MOQ, quality, lead-time, and flexibility- Working with operations buyers and GBS to align planning of material with call offs and ensuring that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders- Managing MRP (Materials Resource Planning) exception messages daily. Supporting cycle counting and/or year-end inventory counting- Taking appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing and procurement and logistics- Conducting financial risk assessments decisions relating to inventory, conducts root case analysis when necessary- Defining inventory policies according to this segmentation. Analyzing excess and obsolete/aging inventory**Your background**:- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, preferred Industrial Engineering- Minimum 2 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or related position- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management- Proficient in MS Office and SAP and purchasing plan standards and practices and capability to resolve problems relating to supply concerns and issues- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Proficient in SAP, Statistical Data Analysis, Inventory Management, Fluent in English**More about us**:
