As a leading talent acquisition consultancy, Eram Talent is dedicated to providing exceptional recruitment solutions to clients in need of highly skilled professionals. In this role, the Materials Specialist will be responsible for ensuring efficient materials utilization, cost reduction, and maximizing profitability in the Oil and Gas sector.
If selected, the job location would be in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities: Manage material inventory including ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing materials to support operational needs in the Oil and Gas industry. Monitor stock levels and ensure materials are available to avoid operational delays in the field. Analyze market trends and prices to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the Oil and Gas supply chain. Assist in vendor selection, negotiation, and management to obtain the best pricing and quality for materials in the Oil and Gas sector. Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure materials availability according to schedule for Oil and Gas projects. Evaluate and develop suppliers, identify new material sources, and maintain supplier relationships in the Oil and Gas industry. Participate in the development of materials management policies and procedures aligned with organization objectives for Oil and Gas operations. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in materials management within the Oil and Gas industry. Strong knowledge of oilfield chemicals, equipment, and materials is essential. Relevant experience in Oil and Gas Project Management Engineering, with emphasis in construction management and material procurement. Proven ability to manage projects and teams effectively in the Oil and Gas sector. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and ERP systems.
