Wahana Visi Indonesia is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to work and collaborate to empower the most vulnerable children, family and community through community development, advocacy, and emergency response for sustainable transformation regardless of religion, race, ethnic or gender.Since 1998, Wahana Visi Indonesia has carried out various community development programs focusing on children. Wahana Visi Indonesia is a trusted partner of World Vision International.Key Responsibilities:- Area placement can change, according to the needs of the Organization.To support Wahana Visi Indonesia's strategic objective to "Increase in children who are well nourished (ages 0-5)" (CWBO #5) such that there is an increase in community access to Nutrition as an effort to reduce stunting which also related to Mother and Child health (MCH) within WVI's ministry areas. This will be achieved by providing technical support to WVI's Nutrition and MCH programme (including advocacy, emergency response and acquisition), ensuring projects and staffs meets performance goals, and by increasing accountability and quality in a way that reflects Wahana Visi's core values, mission and strategic directions. The Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition (MCHN) Specialist will maintain and enhance the role and positioning of Wahana Visi Indonesia in advocating for and responding to Nutrition and MCH needs in Indonesia as related to WV Indonesia Strategy.- Strategy Development & Planning- Develop and implement a rolling 5 years Nutrition including maternal and child health (MCH) strategy (including geographic and sectoral priorities, key advocacy issues, funding growth plan and networks) which is aligned to National and Partnership strategy.-- Develop, implement and monitor annual Nutrition including MCH plan, including budget and key health milestones-- Develop, implement and evaluate research related to Nutrition, MCH within WVI service areas-- Support Grant Acquisition, Zone Manager(s), Area Program(s) and Manager(s) of Nutrition, MCH Projects to develop, implement and monitor projects and APs' business plan, including budget and key health milestones.-- Contribute to ongoing development and implementation of WVI National Strategy and Corporate Plan- Resource Acquisition and Management- Provide budgeting framework for MCH and Nutrition interventions to project and program staff.-- Support Grant Acquisition, Zone Manager(s), Area Program(s) and Manager(s) of MCH and Nutrition Projects to monitor costs of Grant Project/ Area Program's MCH and Nutrition interventions to ensure cost-effectiveness of interventions and to identify ways to leverage our MCH and Nutrition programs-- Identify new funding opportunities and negotiate "Project Charter" for development of proposal or assessment. Contribute to cross-functional teams as agreed in Project Charter for development of new projects; this may include leading in the preparation of grant proposals.-- Support Zone Manager(s) and Grant Contract Acquisition(s) to develop and monitor annual MCH and Nutrition budget (including Program/Project, private and grant funding) in alignment with National and Regional Strategy; and program priorities.- Capacity Building- Support the Zones, APs and non-sponsorship projects to identify Nutrition including MCH as a project goal within log frame through trainings. awareness raising, communications, etc.-- Support the Zones and APs to have at least one staff trained with basic Nutrition and MCH competencies: Develop a standard for APs to define basic Nutrition and MCH competencies and training modules to improve competencies.-- Support National Office and APs in conducting Nutrition, MCH related trainings for Operating model partners-- Contribute National Office Nutrition, MCH Baseline and Evaluations and assist Zones, APs and non-sponsorship projects in interpretation and use of data.-- Support WVI emergency responses related to Nutrition, MCH programme-- Serve as a resource and spokesperson on Nutrition, MCH issues both in Indonesia and within the World Vision partnership- Accountability & Quality Assurance- Contribute to the processes of planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation are performed on time and with high quality in national level.-- Prepare TP Child well nourished (CWN) on nutrition, MCH and CD part documentation and reporting at national level to ensure all required report are submitted on time, accurate, and complete.-- Support Zones, APs and POs to continually monitor Nutrition, MCH and CD sponsorship and non-sponsorship projects to ensure that they meet Wahana Visi and donor accountability standards.-- Assist Zones, APs and non-sponsorship project managers in the preparation of professional and high quality semi-annual (SAR) and annual report (AR) and end of project reports as required
