Indonesia, Other, JakartaApplications due: 17 May, 2024**Job Synopsis**The MCC Representative for Indonesia provides leadership and programmatic direction to work supported and funded by MCC in Indonesia. This role includes maintaining relationships with Indonesian and North American partners. MCC's two primary partner organizations in Indonesia focus on peacebuilding, education, agriculture, youth exchanges, and disaster response. MCC Rep work tasks include working closely with the directors of these two Indonesian partner organizations, visiting university partners in Indonesia and North America, monitoring projects, and representing MCC to Indonesian Mennonite churches.This position requires planning and hosting multiple learning tours and exchanges each year. The MCC Rep will spend a few weeks each year in United States and Canada visiting partner universities and potential partner universities. The location for this role will be determined based on visa availability and government regulations. Partners are based in Salatiga (central Java) and Eastern Indonesia (NTT). The MCC Representative for Indonesia is supervised by the MCC Area Directors for Southeast and Northeast Asia, based in Chiang Mai, Thailand.**Job Details**Salaried Employee -Full Time at 1 FTE**Qualifications**Required for all MCC Representative Positions:Minimum Education Level: BA/BSc or equivalentMinimum Experience: International experience and MCC experience preferredInvitations to serve with MCC are contingent on the successful outcome of criminal background check(s).- Relational Skills: Ability to form, foster and maintain positive, working relationships with MCC workers, local churches and MCC partners, building trust by demonstrating integrity in actions and communications and modeling the values of the organization.
