- Make adjustments to patterns and samples as necessary, ensuring optimal fit and construction.
- Maintain and update pattern files and documentation in an organized manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to pattern making and sample creation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in pattern making technologies.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior pattern makers.
- A degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pattern making and sample creation, preferably using Gerber technology.
- Proven track record of working in the garment manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Gerber pattern making software.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, grading, and fitting.
- Ability to interpret design sketches and translate them into accurate patterns.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
