The Medical Lead for New Products is responsible in supporting the design, implementation and execution of Medical Affairs plans for assigned Therapy Area, providing scientific information, helping design and coordinate clinical studies, and building educational dialogue with KOLs and regulatory stakeholders.
This role will help Novartis transform clinical practice by establishing Novartis Indonesia as scientific partner of choice for Healthcare system and HCPs. This is essential to develop innovative evidence solutions and ensure impactful interactions with medical community to craft highly relevant disease management landscape.

**Your Responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Support country medical affairs strategy in line with the global strategy, country insights and market conditions, & secure implementation of planned Medical Affairs activities within the designated therapy area(s).
- Ensure medical enquiries are responded to in a high quality, timely manner, and in accordance with applicable standards; establish standard response documents as appropriate, for frequently asked questions.
- Provide medical/scientific input into the development of clinical trial or clinical research related activities, including initiation and oversight of clinical studies / clinical research within the respective therapeutic area. Support country strategy for Non Interventional Studies/Investigator Initiated Trial activities.
- Coordinate review and approval of medical materials and locally developed promotional materials; ensure medical materials provided from global or region for customer engagement and events are tailored to local needs, and reviewed/approved per local/P3 guidelines.
- Ensure medical insights are provided to cross functional groups, including, but not restricted to: Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory affairs, Market Access, QA, Commercial teams, Brand team and others.
- Drive the Patient Engagement strategy and framework at the therapy area level, and support input into global therapy area patient engagement strategies.
- Lead and improve Novartis' engagement with the patient community through a patient focused mindset. Bring the voice of the patient into Novartis, facilitating and generating key insight. In compliance with local functional business requirements, impact is achieved when:

- Efficient alignment of new product launch plan execution with the Franchise, Disease Areas and Brand strategies, lead to an efficient launch.
- Positive relationships with country key healthcare system scientific leaders patients and patient advocacy groups and captured insights, lead to identified opportunities for joint value creation and co-designed strategies and studies within therapeutic area of interests.
- Early identification of strategic barriers in patient journey, positioning, population healthcare systems leads to early access and optimized adoption.
- Timely Identification of key data gaps and communication to collaborative launch teams leads to appropriate resourcing from CPOs.
- Brand TPOs on target, achieved and reported at agreed intervals leads to optimized launches and reimbursement.

**Role Requirements**

Minimum requirements
**What you'll bring to the role**:

- Degree in Medicine; PHD in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or other related discipline.
- Experience in Pre-launch activities
- Working experience within the pharmaceutical industry
- Accountability Ability to work and lead (a cross-functional team) in a matrix environment
- Able to understand changing dynamics of Pharmaceutical industry
- Proficient and fluent in English (spoken and written), with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Digital & Technology Savvy
