**Responsibilities**:
As a merchandiser support, you will need to understand the apparel fashion market and know the trends in this space. You will be supporting the merchandiser from acquisition through consignment and buying, pricing and trend analysis to selling and other exit strategies.
- Inventory management and performance review- Reporting to merchandiser and partner with cross-functional teams (Growth, Operations, Product Onboarding, Customer Experience, Data, Content, etc.) to ensure delivery of assortment strategies to achieve annual targets and objectives
- Work closely with merchandising and operations team to create optimal product strategy and assortment mix according to budget.
- Support merchandiser on product lifecycle: pricing, valuation, authentication, assortment planning, inventory management, and retirement strategy.
- Manage inventory and product offering for all markets across available channels (eCommerce and brick-and-mortar).
- Analyse monthly category performance; identify risk and growth opportunities, provide recommendations and actionable plans
- Managing visual merchandising and curation
- Work closely with merchandising and marketing function on planning monthly curation, product features, and in-app display changes
- Work closely with product onboarding team to ensure that all measurements, photos and description of products are accurate and well-presented
- Brand partner management
- Support merchandiser on pricing, assortment, shipping, invoicing and managing of brand relationships
- Partnering with the customer service and finance team to generate report on brands' performance and earnings
- Product onboarding and operations support
- Work closely with operations on key events like warehouse sales and IGLIVE from choosing of inventory, visual merchandising, pricing and sales
- Business support
- Initiate and lead projects with the objectives of improving current processes, increase inventory productivity and company profitability
- Support Business teams on company projects and objectives (key campaigns, market expansion, consumer trend research etc.)
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years' merchandise buying and planning, inventory management or related experience Preferably with luxury retail background.
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Merchandising or related disciplines
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills, familiar with data visualisation tools (i.e. Tableau)
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen; detail-oriented with strong numerical sense, able to turn analysis into actionable insights
- Strong multitasking, prioritisation and organisation skills; able to manage multiple projects, problem-solve and present key information to stakeholders
- Good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen sense of fashion and adequate product sensibility
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced start-up environment and to process new information on the go; ability to embrace ambiguity
- Experience with Shopify platform a plus
- Has visual merchandising experience a plus
