Role Summary:
To make delivery, pick-up or emergency transport of documents and packages.
**Responsibilities**:
You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of transport vehicle before departing to deliver goods.
- Pack and load documents/products onto delivery vehicle according to company's specifications.
- Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
- Unload goods as per client specifications.
- Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
- Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.
- Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers.
- Act as a communication liaison through the two-way truck radio system and answer incoming phone calls from drivers on the road.
- Supervisors in this role would need to develop delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day.
- Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes.
- Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work with drivers to establish new routes for timely deliveries.
