Kuehne + Nagel Indonesia is looking for a dedicated Distribution Vendor Management Specialist to join our growing Contact Logistics Team. This position is based in Cibitung, West Java.
** Your Role**: Your primary objective will be to deliver against our distribution strategy by ensuring that vendor management is a priority + key factor in gaining + retaining customers. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives.
** Your Responsibilities**:
- To manage vendor sourcing deals, contracts, delivery + quality for a complete procurement cycle, ensuring that commercial + cost saving benefits are realized at the P+L level, also ensuring on time delivery with suppliers.
- To evaluate supplier core competencies + competitive positioning using industry cost models.
- To develop a negotiation strategy that delivers against business objectives + achieves sustainable relationships with suppliers.
- To review + approve a comprehensive list of suppliers for tender processes developed by analyzing the local market, understanding trends + competitive positioning in order to ensure the best possible supply base.
- To take action to reduce costs, focusing on creating greater efficiencies, economies of scale or a greater quality of resources.
- To support with customer tender proposals + develop + drive compelling distribution solutions.
- To present solutions with confidence to our customers as a key part of the tendering process.
- To be part of the management team developing + designing strategic solutions for our customer, challenging the status quo + guiding customers constructively where needed.
**Your Skills and Experiences**:
- Min 3 years' experience in distribution, transport, and vendor management
- Ability to develop complex solutions + strong analytical skills.
- Top notch knowledge of distribution operations + solutions transport design
- Top notch excel skills
- Ability to converse fluently in Bahasa Indonesia and English both verbal and written.
- Poses negotiation and communication skills
- Vast network in distribution and transport vendor
- Has experience leading projects.
