Join us as National Sales Manager for the Electrification Business Area where you will be developing and maintaining ELDS division sales and segments strategy in specified local Indonesian market scope to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations in the assigned scope. Planning and ensuring execution of divisional sales strategy within the assigned scope to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems and/or services in a profitable way: order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. Monitoring proactively sales performance, ensuring development and implementation of correction actions to secure business growth when and where needed. Proactively leading, developing and coaching the sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to exceed the sales targets through high performance. Reporting to Marketing and Sales Manager and this position will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Creating, planning, and implementing local sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives for the division
- Defining key sales targets and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance
- Anticipating and identifying shortfalls in performance and taking appropriate remedial action to drives top line growth
- Identifying and evaluating opportunities with existing and potential new customers on a global/local basis, determines plans for implementation and allocating resources
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers in customer and potential customer organizations. Ensuring high level of customer satisfaction. Participate in the negotiation of key global contracts.
- Supporting local sales organizations to ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets
- Identifying and managing potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels including cyber security risks
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing sales processes and tools, and all related training and development activities
- Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies and driving, ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
**Your background**:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- More than 8 to10 years of experience within segment sales, end-user sales or solutions sales for several segments
- Strong network within O&G, Mining, Heavy Industry Market
- Proven track record in leading and growing a business within the country
- Demonstrated experience in supporting the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategy
- Strong ability to drive and lead teams internally as well as externally having strong leadership/management experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and business acumen
