**Materials Officer**
**DUTIES**
a. Have control and measures so that only authorized personnel can enter in to the storage area and make sure have proper security and locked.
b. Ensure all material documentation and part transaction records, including computerized records; comply with Company requirements, so that inventory certification, traceability and accountability standards are maintained.
c. Ensure only approved spares and materials are held in bonded store and that they are properly binned or racked in such a manner for easy retrieval on FIFO basis.
d. Assist Warehouse and Tool Executive and Liaise with Material Planning & Inventory Officer to completes annual physical stock takes and additional stock takes according to requests from the Finance and Accounting Department or from Material Department.
e. Ensure to implement random stock take to maintain accuracy.
f. Ensure proper store shift handover and data accountability.
g. Control of issues on FIFO basis.
h. Ensure spares which required for maintenance and stock distributed properly.
i. To inform Warehouse and Tool Executive upon Items received as BER, hold in quarantine store for action & feedback.
j. All scrap items shall be action on first opportunity basis and disposed of, as per instruction from Warehouse and Tool Executive.
k. Have in place a system to monitor and control of time controlled parts e.g. Shelf life, etc.
l. Monitor and ensure outgoing and incoming aircraft spare from and to store for
serviceable or unserviceable are handle properly.
m. Monitor and track all unserviceable Aircraft spares from out station, main store or abroad
n. Ensure store functions such as packing, shipping, disposal of scrap parts or warranty parts are handled correctly and documented.
o. Ensure and responsible housekeeping complies with the CMM at all times.
p. Represent material department on daily station meeting to ensure all aircraft spares required for maintenance which under procurement and repair are well informed to respective departments as assigned by Material Manager.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
a. Understand applicable Basic Regulation and Company Procedure.
b. Able to operate computerized aircraft management systems of Material Management.
c. Trained in Safety Management System, Human Factor and Dangerous Good is an advantage.
d. Knowledge of CASR part 21, part 121, part 57 and part 145 for Material or Tool side.
e. Knowledge of Basic Warehouse Management.
f. Knowledge of Aeronautical Part & Tool.
