Operations Manager

Our client is the world's largest die-casting machines manufacturer. Our Client engages in the design, manufacture, and sale of die-casting machines, plastic injection molding machines, and computerized numerically controlled machining centers. There are several manufacturing bases in Shenzhen, Zhongshan, Ningbo, Shanghai, Fuxin, and Kunshan in the PRC and an R&D center in Taiwan and also has subsidiaries in the USA and Italy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive and execute the process and operation of the new office/showroom setup;
- Direct all aspects of the business operations, including purchasing, scheduling, manufacturing, warehousing, shipping/receiving, quality assurance, and customer service;
- Provide leadership to all functional departments/personnel and devise production strategies & tactics for machine efficiencies, material yields, labor, and overhead costs versus budget;
- Maintain knowledge of tax liabilities, implications, and exemptions, as well as finances and operations;
- Design strategy and set goals for business growth

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree or above in Manufacturing, Engineering with Business related disciplines;
- 8 years of progressive manufacturing experience, OR with at least 5 years of increasing management responsibility in a manufacturing environment;
- High ability in complex problems, strategic thinking & analytical skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin;
- Based in Indonesia & frequent travel is required;
