Under strict supervision, assists during the rigging up and down of Data Acquisition Services (DAS) service line equipment on work locations during well testing and/or perforating operations for the purpose of providing the customer with essential reservoir information such as (but not limited to): downhole and or surface pressures and temperatures using downhole memory gauges, downhole shut in tools, acoustic telemetry systems and surface data acquisition. May assist other Testing and Subsea produt service lines (PSL) on location as needed. Learns basic Testing and Subsea DAS operations to include (but not limited to): completion of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) paperwork, performing and completing preventative maintenance procedures, maintaining and operating DAS and other Testing and Subsea equipment as needed, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Journey Management, Job Safety Analysis (JSA's), Permit to Work System (PTW), Hazard Observation Check (HOC Cards), Toolbox Meetings, Safety Huddles, Local Area requirements, and completing Testing and Subsea training requirement programs. Works in the DAS lab, assisting in the repair and maintenance of equipment. Works in the Testing and Subsea workshop assisting as needed. Assists in assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service. Assists in the running of a job and in the clean up, repair, and preparation for the next job. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes. Job tasks, correctly performed, have mínimal impact upon the viability of the organization. Skills are typically acquired through completion of high school or similar education and 6 months of Data Acquisition Services experience. Must be capable of understanding basic navigation of HMS, iLearn and Competency sites on HalWorld. Must have successfully passed company tests or met task guideline requirements. Must have passed Oilfield Primer training and Essential Math. The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Basic computer skills are needed. Licensure to drive commercial vehicles may be required. Must have met the minimum competency requirements for Operator Asst I-Data Acquisition Services DAS.
