Origin Certification Lead

**About the role**
- The certification process is a significant element in the Sustainability program. Ensuring compliance to achieve the goal of certification granted is very critical due to the risk of losing volume (revenue) when certification is not granted. The grant of certification will also act as proof to our customers of the quality of the program we implemented. The whole of the Sustainability initiative will focus more on impact. Compliance will be a pre-requisite condition to assure that our initiative has a solid platform to move to the next impact-oriented activity.
- The Origin Certification Lead will play a significant role in managing the team conducting compliance checking.
**Key responsibilities include**
- Certification & Compliance Monitoring
- Coordinates with APMs for all project audit (RA/ FT/other) requirements to be completed promptly
- Providing recommended action to resolve nonconformities
- Providing a review of a specific targeted area of Sustainability OPS for all Customer activity
- Support external auditors in conducting interim and yearly audits including dispute resolutions. It plans, manages and works closely with APMs on the external audit preparation. The goal is to have an external audit prior 2-3 months before the expiration date of the certification
- Develop the work plan, coordinate the team implementer & monitor the compliance checking activity to support the organization
- Develop, distribute, and monitor policies and procedures based on the RA new standard alignment with the Sustainability Program for all customers
- Working closely with APM, M&E Manager & Finance Admin Sustainability on the preparation of farmer premium distribution (compile, consolidate, and reconcile) all programs
- Traceability
- Development and management to drive continuous improvement initiatives regarding processes, technologies, and organization as participate in preparing on traceability system end to end for internal & external commitments
- Working closely with Sourcing, APMs, SCP & SCA to ensure the level of awareness of end to end traceability process (from farmers to BC WH) is there and improved year by year
- Increases supply chain visibility, improves quality control systems and reduces risk.
- External Stakeholders
- Main contact for audit plan arrangement and follow-up (including compilation of corrective action, progress, and activation of Multitrace RA)
- Encourage SCP for traceability processes, each product or lot is assigned an identification number, and then information such as work details, inspection results, and dimensions are linked to this identification number in each process so that it can be utilized for assembly in a later process.
- Providing customers report a contribution
**About you**
- At least possess a Bachelor's majoring in Agriculture Experience (type) 3-5 years of working experience in cocoa certification (RA/UTZ/Fair Trade), traceability, external & internal audit, compliance & sustainability program
- Solid understanding/ expertise of cocoa certification (on farm & factory), traceability & audit
- Proficient coordinator, negotiator, communicator (internal & external), problem-solving, and data analytics
- Demonstrated leadership skill
- An eagle eye for detail and fluent English communication (written & spoken)
- Preference: certified auditor (cocoa)
- Understand GMP, safety, food safety, Halal Assurance System and quality standards and procedures
