About the Role The Payments Compliance Head is a critical role within GoTo Financial online merchant payments division. As a Head, she/he will be expected to be the primary PiC to ensure the alignment of GoTo Financial online merchants' payments business units to grow sustainably through regulatory adherence. She/he will work across functions in GoTo Financial and GoTo Group to lead compliance advisory to all functions, conduct product compliance risk assessment, reporting, and submissions to the regulators with the primary objective of ensuring the implementation of payments regulations, industry standards, and good corporate governance principles in the operations of the Company/Group.
\n What you will doLead compliance in GoTo Financial online and offline merchant payments operations, which includes but not limited to business/product reporting and approval process with the regulators, compliance advisory to business unit, as well as regulatory assessmentProvide Compliance assessment and analysis for offline and online payments operations, in both consumer and merchant-facing operationLed the creation, standardization, and implementation of Payments Compliance policies, terms & conditions, internal working procedures, and standard operational guidelinesActively update and advocate to the internal GoTo Financial business team on the latest update of payment regulationsBe the substantive Lead PiC of GoTo Financial in any external engagements with Bank Indonesia, other regulators, industry associations, and other external stakeholdersAny other ad-hoc duties that may be required. What you will needBachelor's Degree in Law/ Economics/ Accounting/ Computer Science/Engineering. Having a master's degree would be an advantage.Possessing certifications in Risk Management/ IT Audit will be an advantage. Excellent analytical skills with the capacity to identify risks and proactively choose the best solutions, sound judgment, and attention to detail.At least 7 years of mixed experience in the area of economic/ payments policy/ regulatory compliance and past working experience in Bank Indonesia/ Otoritas Jasa Keuangan will be an advantage. Advanced level of spoken and written both in English and Indonesian language.High energy and a strong believer in GoTo Financial's mission to enable digitalization to million of merchants through adherence to compliance regulations. Ability to lead a project independently, self-initiating as well as a team player who puts the team best interest above individuals' objectiveAbility to multitask and adapt to work in a fast-paced team environment. Well-developed communication skills (including oral, written, and interpersonal skills) and the ability to liaise and negotiate in a variety of contexts, including builds credibility and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and counterparts
\nAbout the team The Payment Compliance team is a critical unit in the GTF ecosystem, it acts as a point of contact between GTF-regulated entities with Bank Indonesia as the regulator. As a Payment Compliance team, we are obliged to ensure the adherence of business units to payment system regulations, and at the same time to help ensure the business units are in a strategic position to execute all the business initiatives.
The Payment Compliance team itself combines youthful energy and responsibility as expected from mature individuals. We foster a healthy and conducive environment for the members to share their opinions and thoughts and we promote high responsibility for each task assigned to all team members. All of those are critical aspects for the team to be able to interact and give correct advice to the other functions within the GoTo ecosystem.
