Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking Permit Authority Officer to join our Commissioning team in Gresik, Indonesia.
This opportunity will see you working for Hatch on Freeport Indonesia's copper smelter and precious metals refinery project in Gresik, East Java. Once fully operational, the new smelter complex could process 1.7 million tonnes of copper concentrate annually into 550,000 tonnes of copper cathode, which can be further processed into electrical wiring, pipes and car batteries, among other products. The metallurgical complex will include a Smelter, Electro refinery and Precious Metal Refinery.
Hatch's project scope covers detailed engineering, award and procurement of pre-purchased equipment, contract formation, construction, and commissioning of the Precious Metals Refinery.
- Coordinate and manage all work activities to ensure they are carried out as per Project Permit to Work procedure and in conjunction with all applicable legislative and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and brief the Area Responsibility of all relevant activities in their immediate area of responsibility. Where applicable delegate responsibility for the Area Responsibility to prepare/validate work precautions and conditions
- Ensure the equipment has been correctly prepared, drained, purged, de-energized, cleaned and in preparation for the upcoming work
- Prepare/verify isolation lists in line with the approved isolation procedure
- Ensure non-completed work is detailed and communicated to relevant personnel via toolbox meetings, handovers, logbooks and ensure the associated equipment is correctly tagged and identified according to the Project Custody and Tagging requirements
**You will bring to the role.**
- Minimum 5 years previous operational experience in a permitting and isolations role
- Extensive experience in the use of procedures and workflow in the execution of projects
- Intimate knowledge of CCMS Systems
- Good understanding of interdisciplinary dependencies in a project environment
