Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Online Tutoring Sessions:
- Plan and conduct engaging one-on-one or group tutoring sessions via online platforms.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual learning styles and needs of students.
2. Develop Customized Learning Plans:
- Assess students' strengths, weaknesses, and learning goals to create personalized learning plans.
- Set clear objectives and benchmarks to track students' progress over time.
- Modify learning plans as needed based on student performance and feedback.
3. Foster a Positive Learning Environment:
- Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas.
- Motivate students to stay engaged and focused during tutoring sessions.
- Offer constructive feedback and praise to reinforce student effort and achievements.
4. Provide Academic Support:
- Assist students with homework assignments, projects, and exam preparation.
- Clarify difficult concepts, answer questions, and address misconceptions.
- Offer study tips, time management strategies, and organizational skills to enhance student learning.
5. Communicate with Students and Parents:
- Maintain regular communication with students and/or parents to discuss progress, goals, and concerns.
- Provide updates on student performance, areas for improvement, and recommended strategies for success.
- Respond promptly to inquiries, scheduling requests, and other administrative matters.
6. Stay Current with Subject Matter and Teaching Practices:
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods, resources, and technologies into your tutoring sessions.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your tutoring skills and expertise.
Qualifications:
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience, preferably in an online setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
- Ability to tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Proficiency with online tutoring platforms and digital teaching tools.
- Reliable internet connection and suitable workspace for conducting online sessions.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From Rp3,000,000 per month
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
