- Primary Responsibilities:
- Purchase consumables, parts, services etc assigned to you in accordance with the Fugro Procurement Processes.-
- Issue Purchase Order as per Procure to Pay instructions.-
- Liaise with Front office Procurement team in Australia, Singapore or Hong Kong.-
- Liaise with supplier on acknowledgement of Purchase Order Fugro QHSE or Fugro Supplier Code of Business Conduct.-
- Liaise with forwarders to deliver the goods according-
- Generate reports and monitor supplier performance.Secondary Responsibilities:
- Source, assess, qualify, develop & manage suppliers to support the operations-
- Assessment of current and potential suppliers in terms of supplier's technical competence and commercial risks-
- Manage the purchasing of technical goods and services according to the standards, policy and procedures.-
- Effectively manage RFQ, price inquiries, quotations, negotiation, purchase orders and contracting out assignments;-
- Select and continuously evaluate suppliers, contractors and other service suppliers;-
- Ensure that materials are delivered to in the most efficient manner, in good condition and within the agreed time limit, and effectively deal with any returns.- Requirements:

- We are looking for a tactical buyer who has purchasing running through their veins and who- Has minimum Diploma holder.-
- Has 3 years working experience with knowledge of the ERP system.-
- Has a background in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.-
- Good understanding of ICO terms.-
- Good understanding of ERP system.-
- Works independently and pro-actively and details.-
- Demonstrates ownership and has a sense of responsibility.-
- Can work fast and accurately at operational level.-
- Is convincing, adaptable and persistent.-
- Is highly service-minded, both to internal and to external customers.-
- Proficiency in English is a must for this position.-
