Procurement Buyer (Contract Based)

People are key to Shopee's growth, and as our business expands, so does the need to develop and support our employees.
- Assist in identifying potential suppliers and evaluating their capabilities.
- Support the selection and onboarding of suppliers while maintaining positive vendor relationships.
- Participate in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Create and manage purchase orders in compliance with company policies. Ensure accuracy and completeness of procurement documentation
- Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and efficient procurement practices.
- Support cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
- Min 1 year experience in procurement buyer
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities and collaborative attitude.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple procurement tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
- High ethical standards and integrity in procurement practices
